Note: To use this guide, you must have an integration set up on your OpenSesame account. If your learning platform does not offer an OpenSesame integration, see our guide to downloading course packages from a List.
An OpenSesame integration lets you send a course package directly to a learning platform, and Lists let you send multiple courses at once.
Log in to your OpenSesame account and select My Lists:

Open a List by clicking its title:
Select from the courses within. You can select everything, specific Groups, or individual courses. Only courses with an active license will successfully send.
When at least one course is selected, a Deliver Courses button appears. Click it:
- If you have multiple license types for any of the courses, a notification appears and you can choose which type to use.
- If you don't have a license for a course, a notification appears and the course is removed from the queue:
Next, select the Send to Integration delivery option. If a different option appears, expand the menu and choose Send to Integration from there:
Select your learning platform, then click Deliver Courses:
For most integrations, a confirmation appears and the courses appear in the learning platform after its next sync with OpenSesame:
Note: Some platforms can take up to 24 hours to sync.
To review the selected courses again, click View Status to visit the My Courses dashboard, which can also be reached via the account menu. Otherwise, you're done in OpenSesame, and any remaining steps would happen in the learning platform. (For more information, see your platform's documentation.)
For legacy integrations, there is one more step, and a reminder appears:
In this case, click the Review and Send button to visit the legacy Courses dashboard. It opens on a Pending tab:
All courses are Pending until they're sent to the learning platform. After they're sent, they appear in the History tab. The trash icon lets you remove any you decide not to send.
- If you use a legacy SAP SuccessFactors integration, courses remain Pending after they're sent to the SuccessFactors OCN. The trash icon only successfully removes courses that haven’t been sent. After sending, courses appear for import in the OCN after the OCN APM runs.
Click Send to LMS:
A progress bar appears. When it finishes, depending on your learning platform, the OpenSesame window may automatically close, or the window may remain open and switch to the History tab.
At that point, there are no further steps to take in OpenSesame. For information about any steps needed in your learning platform, please see its documentation.
