If you log in to CourseCloud with a username and password and you forget your password, you can reset it. (If you log in to CourseCloud with Single Sign-On, you don't use a password.)
To reset your CourseCloud password, visit the CourseCloud login page:
Enter your email address and click Log in.
On the next page, click the Forgot your password? link. This sends an email to the address you entered:
A confirmation appears:
Next, check your inbox. If the address you entered has a CourseCloud account, an email soon appears with a unique password-reset link:
Note: If you don't receive this email after five minutes, check your spam folder. If the email isn't there, confirm with your IT team that messages from OpenSesame are allowed. If they are, contact us for assistance.
Your link expires 15 minutes after you request it. If it expires before you can use it, repeat the previous steps to get a new link.
Click your link to reach a Create Your Password page:
Passwords for CourseCloud need:
- At least 8 characters
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 symbol
Enter your new password and confirm it, then click Update. If all requirements are met, you return to the login page and a success message appears:
Your new password is now active, and you can use it to log in.
