If you log in to CourseCloud with a username and password and you forget your password, you can reset it at any time. (If you log in to CourseCloud with Single Sign-On, you will never need a password.)
First, visit the CourseCloud log-in page:
Enter your email address and click the Log in button.
Next, click Forgot your password? to send yourself an email with a password-reset link:
A confirmation message will appear:
Next, check your email inbox. If the address you entered is associated with a CourseCloud account, an email should soon appear:
Note: If the email does not appear after five minutes, check your spam folder. If it's not there either, please confirm with your IT team that messages from OpenSesame are allowed, then contact us.
Your unique link will expire 30 minutes after you request it. If it expires before you use it, repeat the previous steps to get a new link.
Click your link to reach a Set password page:
Enter a new password. It must:
- Use at least 8 characters
- Use uppercase and lowercase letters
- Use at least 1 number
- Use at least 1 symbol
Enter the new password a second time to confirm it, then click Update Password. If all requirements are met, you will be logged in and a success message will appear:
With that, your new password is now active!
