Use an email address and a password to log in to CourseCloud unless your account uses Single Sign-On (SSO). (If your account uses SSO, see Logging in to CourseCloud as a Learning Administrator (SSO).)
Shortly after the OpenSesame implementation team creates your CourseCloud Learning Administrator account, you receive an email:
The email is sent from noreply@coursecloud.opensesame.com and contains:
- Your unique CourseCloud username.
- A link to complete account setup.
Note: If you don't receive this email but know a CourseCloud account was created for you, check your spam folder. If the email isn't there, confirm with your IT team that messages from OpenSesame are allowed.
Click the link to visit CourseCloud's login page:
Enter the email address your notification was sent to and click Log in.
The next page asks you to check your inbox:
An email arrives with a setup link that expires in 15 minutes:
Click the link to reach a Create Your Password page:
Passwords for CourseCloud need:
- At least 8 characters
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 symbol
Enter your new password and confirm it, then click Update. If all requirements are met, you return to the login page and a success message appears:
Enter your email address and click Log In.
On the next page, enter your password and click Log In:
Your CourseCloud Dashboard appears, and you're in!
When you want to log out, open your account menu and select Log out. CourseCloud sessions automatically time out after 8 hours.
