Note: CourseCloud is our limited-access content delivery platform. If you send course invitations from OpenSesame instead, see our documentation on CourseCloud Legacy.
You will use an email address and a password to log in to CourseCloud unless your organization is set up to use Single Sign-On (SSO). (If you use SSO, see our SSO guide to logging in to CourseCloud as a Learning Administrator.)
Shortly after OpenSesame’s implementation team creates your CourseCloud Learning Administrator account, you will receive an email:
This email will be sent from noreply@coursecloud.opensesame.com and will contain your unique CourseCloud username, a temporary password, and a link for logging in.
Note: If you haven't received this email but know that a CourseCloud account has been created for you, check your spam folder. If it's not there, please confirm with your IT team that messages from OpenSesame are allowed.
Follow the email's link to the CourseCloud log-in page:
Enter the email address from your notification email and click the Log in button.
On the next screen, enter your temporary password and click Log in:
Finally, you will be asked to re-enter your temporary password and set a new password:
The new password must:
- Use at least 8 characters
- Use uppercase and lowercase letters
- Use at least 1 number
- Use at least 1 symbol
When you enter the new password and confirm it, click Save changes. If all requirements are met, a success message will appear:
With that, your new password is now active! You can update it again from the account menu at any time.
To log out, click the account menu and select Log out. Otherwise, your CourseCloud session will automatically time out after 8 hours.
