Updating your CourseCloud password

Note: CourseCloud is our limited-access content delivery platform. If you send course invitations from OpenSesame instead, see our documentation on CourseCloud Legacy.

If you log in to CourseCloud with a username and password, you can update your password at any time. (If you forgot your password, see Resetting your forgotten CourseCloud password.)

While logged in, open the account menu and select Change password:

Note: If you log in to CourseCloud with Single Sign-On (SSO), which does not use passwords, this menu option will not appear.

Enter your current password and set a new password:

The new password must:

• Use at least 8 characters
• Use uppercase and lowercase letters
• Use at least 1 number
• Use at least 1 symbol

When you enter the new password and confirm it, click Save changes. If all requirements are met, a success message will appear:

With that, your new password is now active!
