Manually sync courses to CourseCloud

Note: CourseCloud is our limited-access content delivery platform. If you send course invitations from OpenSesame instead, see our documentation on CourseCloud Legacy.

When you select new courses in OpenSesame and send them to CourseCloud, they will be automatically synced overnight. Syncing is the final step before the courses will appear in CourseCloud, and it happens at around midnight (12 AM) Pacific time.

If you don’t want to wait, you can manually sync courses at any time.

First, if you haven’t already sent courses from OpenSesame to CourseCloud, please do so now. The fastest way to do this is with an OpenSesame List.

After you’ve sent your courses, log in to your Learning Administrator account in CourseCloud. When logged in, select Admin Tools from the navigation menu:

Click the Sync Courses button to initiate a sync with OpenSesame:

A message will appear while the sync is processing, and it will disappear when the sync finishes. You can also hover your cursor over the button’s “information” icon to see when the last sync finished.

When the sync is complete, you can select Courses from the menu to find your newly imported content.
