Note: Clearing your browser cache will log you out of most sites.
If a course isn't loading as expected and the problem is rooted in the browser cache, clearing that cache should resolve it.
For background, a web browser will remember parts of a web page—such as text and images—to load them faster if you revisit the page. This information is saved in the browser cache.
Saved information can sometimes interfere with course elements loading completely or updating. Clearing the cache forces the browser to load everything fresh.
Chrome (Referenced version: 127.0)
- Click the menu in the top corner of your Chrome window.
- Select Delete Browsing Data...
- Choose a time range. To delete everything, select "All time".
- Select the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click the Delete data button.
- Try relaunching the course.
Edge (Referenced version: 127.0)
- Click the menu in the top corner of your Edge window.
- Select Settings.
- Select the Privacy, Search, and Services category at left.
- Under Delete browsing data, find Clear browsing data now and click the Choose What to Clear button.
- Choose a time range. To delete everything, select "All time".
- Select the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click the Clear Now button.
- Try relaunching the course.
Firefox (Referenced version: 129.0)
- Click the menu in the top corner of your Firefox window.
- Select Settings.
- Select the Privacy & Security category at left.
- Locate Cookies and Site Data and click the Clear Data... button.
- Select Cookies and site data and Temporary cached files and pages and click the Clear button.
- Try relaunching the course.
Safari (A Mac-only browser. Referenced version: 17.5)
- Click Safari in the bar at the top of your screen.
- Select Settings... and then the Privacy icon.
- Click the Manage Website Data... button.
- When the data has loaded, click the Remove All button.
- In the "Are you sure?" box, click Remove Now.
- Try relaunching the course.
