How can I change the language of my course?

A course’s language options can vary depending on the publisher.

Certain courses will have another language translation option as a separate course while others have the ability to change the language within the course. 

You may be looking for a course that needs to be in English or another language such as French, Spanish, Russian Etc.... For example, your course needs to be in English and not Spanish. OpenSesame offers courses in many different languages and we most likely have the language you need.

Check the below two scenarios to see which your course falls into.

Scenario 1: The language you want is in a separate course

Scenario 2:  The option to change the language is within the course itself

Scenario 1: The language you want is in a separate course

 The following courses by the publisher Syntrio are ones where other language options are available as separate courses: 

• Acoso e intimidación en el centro de trabajo: Manejo de amenazas para alcanzar una cultura laboral respetuosa (Global - Employee - Foundation)
• Acoso e intimidación en el centro de trabajo: Manejo de amenazas para alcanzar una cultura laboral respetuosa (Global - Employee - Core)
• Acoso e intimidación en el centro de trabajo: Manejo de amenazas para alcanzar una cultura laboral respetuosa (Global - Manager - Foundation)

You will need to reach out to your learning administrator to assign you the course in the language needed.

Other examples:

• Prevención de la discriminación y el acoso (New York - Manager)
• Seguridad de escaleras información general
• Antitrust
• Whistleblowing and whistleblower protection (Chinese)
• Verhaltenskodex – Grundlagen
• Consumo de drogas y alcohol en el lugar de trabajo
• Seguridad en el uso de extintores
• Concienciación sobre seguridad cibernética: ¿Cómo trabajo de forma segura dondequiera que esté? (Inicio / Remoto / Híbrido)

If you have been assigned these courses and need them in another language, please reach out to your learning administrator.

Scenario 2:  Check the menu icon to see if you can change the language or relaunch and select your language

Many of our courses offer language selections within the course. 

 If you are taking one of the below courses by the publisher HSI - Safety, the method to change the language is within the menu icon on the lower left via the "language" button OR upon launching the course using the language selection.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Fundamentals
• Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP)
• Back Safety and Injury Prevention

If you are taking a course by the publisher Syntrio that matches one of the below titles, you can switch the language to Spanish by exiting out, re-entering and selecting Espanol. 

• Workplace Harassment (US - Office - New York - Employee)
• Workplace Harassment (US - Office - California - Employee)
