OpenSesame’s CourseCloud Legacy is a basic tool for inviting learners to training. It was created for organizations that have fewer than 100 learners and no learning platform, such as a Learning Management System (LMS).
While CourseCloud Legacy is not an LMS and has limited features, it allows you to:
- Deliver course seats using only a web browser and email addresses.
- Send email invitations to take training on www.opensesame.com.
- Track learner activity on your OpenSesame dashboard.
For small organizations without a learning platform, CourseCloud Legacy provides basic course delivery and tracking.
Plan for CourseCloud Legacy
CourseCloud Legacy uses email addresses to assign training and track progress. Each learner must:
- Have their own email address.
- Use a device with a web browser.
If all learners use email addresses from your organization’s domain (example@yourcompany.com):
- Ask your IT team to allow emails from info@opensesame.com and support@opensesame.com.
If some learners use email addresses from other services (like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo):
- Ask them to add info@opensesame.com and support@opensesame.com to their contacts or safe sender list.
