If you manage an OpenSesame Plus subscription, you can check seat usage at any time. This can be useful when the subscription renews.
In this guide:
Open Subscription Management
Log in to your OpenSesame account. Open the account menu and select Dashboard.
In the OpenSesame Plus area, select the Manage button.
A list of active learners appears.
The Subscription Management table has the following columns:
- Date added - When the learner was added to the current subscription period. This date updates when your subscription renews.
-
Learner - The learner’s unique identifier. A name may also appear.
- If you use OpenSesame courses in a learning platform, the identifier comes from that platform. This is often an email address or ID number.
- Depending on your learning platform setup or single sign-on (SSO) configuration, an anonymized ID may appear instead of a name.
- Completions - The total number of courses the learner has completed since first joining your subscription. This number is not limited to the current subscription period.
- Invite type - This column applies to a legacy delivery method. The default type is Course Specific.
- Learner status - Not used. This column applies to a legacy delivery method.
- Friendly name - Shows the learner name if it is shared with OpenSesame.
Any learner who appears in this table is using a seat.
Optional: Download a report
To review this table in a spreadsheet application such as Excel or Google Sheets, first download a report.
When the Subscription Management table is open, scroll to the end of the page. Select the CSV Download button.
A progress bar appears. When it finishes, a CSV file downloads to your device. Locate it and open it with any spreadsheet application.
