You may receive occasional automated messages related to your OpenSesame account, such as if a course update becomes available (for a Volume or Pay Per Use license) or if a course you’ve delivered to learners becomes scheduled to retire. These messages are sent from info@opensesame.com to the email address on file.
If you manage your organization’s learning program with a team, you may want your teammates to receive these notifications as well. This can be done by adding their email addresses to your Notification List.
Note: As mentioned in our System Requirements, please ensure that emails from OpenSesame are allowed past firewalls and spam filters.
First, log in to your OpenSesame account. If you access your OpenSesame dashboard from within a Learning Management System (LMS), log in to your LMS and open the OpenSesame integration from there. Otherwise, visit www.opensesame.com directly and click “My Account” at upper right.
Once logged in, your account name will appear at top right. Hover over it and select “Edit Profile” from the menu:
This will lead to the account’s profile information, starting with the first name, last name, and email address on file:
Scroll down to find the Notification List field:
Enter the email addresses for any other administrators who you want to receive notifications. If there are multiple addresses, separate them with commas (without spaces):
Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Save Profile” button.
The recipients you’ve added will now receive the same automated messages as the account’s primary email address. If you decide to remove a recipient, simply delete their email address from this field and click “Save Profile” again.
