You may receive occasional automated emails related to your OpenSesame account, such as:
- If a course update becomes available (for Volume or Pay Per Use licenses)
- If a course that was delivered to learners becomes scheduled to retire
These messages are sent from info@opensesame.com to the email address on file.
If you manage your organization’s learning program as part of a team, you may want certain colleagues to receive account notifications as well. This can be done in two ways:
- Use the Team dashboard to add other administrators, who are automatically opted in to notifications
- Add email addresses to your account's Notification List by using the following steps
While logged in to OpenSesame, select Account Settings from the menu:
Next, scroll to the Notification List:
Enter the email address(es) that you want to receive notifications. If there are multiple addresses, separate them with commas and no spaces:
Finally, scroll to the Save button and click it.
The recipients you added will then receive the same automated messages as the account’s primary email address. (As mentioned in our System Requirements, please ensure that emails from OpenSesame are allowed past firewalls and spam filters.)
To remove someone, delete their email address from this field and click Save. If that same person is also a member of your account's Team, however, they will continue to receive notifications.
