Microsoft Edge Legacy

If your learners still use Microsoft Edge Legacy (version 78 or earlier), please note that Edge underwent a significant change in its January 2020 release, when Microsoft switched from building it with EdgeHTML to Chromium. Chromium-based Edge began to go out (via Windows Update) to Windows 10 users in June 2020. 

As this change was a major evolution, if you are updating to Chromium-based Edge for the first time, we recommend testing courses in your organization's unique IT ecosystem to confirm that compatibility continues as expected. A common symptom of incompatibility is being unable to resume a course after closing and relaunching it.

Microsoft stopped releasing security updates for Edge Legacy in March of 2021.
