Now that you've selected your free courses and confirmed compatibility through the testing process, you are ready to roll out training to learners!
Use OpenSesame assets to inform your team
As a first step, please be sure to communicate a heads up to your audience before sending invitations. Let your employees know that training is incoming and outline any applicable instructions. CourseCloud Legacy invitations are emailed immediately and cannot be customized (more details below), so the only context your team will have is what you provide them ahead of time.
To save time, please take advantage of this Marketing Toolkit (.zip download). It includes customizable posters, table tent cards, and email templates to promote your learning program during and after your launch.
Send invitations
Using the same invitation tool from Step Four, assign courses out from your free Curated Lists. As soon as the "Send Invitations" button is clicked, automated emails will go out to your learners, they can immediately begin their training, and your training program is officially launched!
The learner experience
CourseCloud Legacy learners invited via a List will receive an email like this one:
The orange "Start Learning" button is a unique link for each learner. Clicking on it allows them to register their OpenSesame account then start taking courses from their dashboard—as seen in our testing view from Step Four.
Note: As the administrator, your dashboard's "OpenSesame Plus" tab will show every course that has been assigned out. A learner's dashboard will only display the courses to which they have been invited, under a "My Courses" tab.
Wrap up
Your free course licenses will expire 30 days after first signing up, so to ensure a positive experience please prepare your learners to complete all relevant content before then.
After the free-license period ends, while learners will still be able to log in to their OpenSesame accounts, they will no longer be able to launch courses. So if you do not plan to license these courses for use beyond the 30-day window, we recommend scheduling your final training deadline before the window ends and communicating that to your team.
