OpenSesame has curated multiple Lists of free courses about preventing the spread of coronavirus, how to work and manage remotely, the importance of social distancing, and more. These courses are made available as a public service, free of charge through 15 June 2020. Please use them to help your employees, customers, partners, and families reduce their exposure and spread of the virus, as well as adjust to new working conditions.
If your Learning Management System (LMS) offers an embedded-catalog integration with OpenSesame, once that is enabled it would allow you to send course files straight to your LMS with no need for downloading and uploading. (If your LMS does not offer one, please use the guide here.)
If you have not accessed the OpenSesame catalog via your LMS before, work with your LMS contacts to identify where you can find our content marketplace in your LMS. Every LMS will have a different process to enable and access it. (Some LMSes may choose to charge a setup fee.)
Once the integration is enabled, log in to your LMS and locate our catalog from within it. As soon as you open the catalog window you will see a banner along the top, where you can click the “Sign Up Now” button at right. Here’s an example of how that can look:
This leads to a sign-up page. Enter the number of seats you will need for your learners and click “Get free courses”:
Note: If you've already signed up for our free coronavirus preparedness and remote working courses, you do not need to sign up again. The new courses will already be available in your account.
You will briefly see a loading screen as your request is processed, then return to the home page:
From here, go to “Select courses to send to LMS” in this article for a step-by-step guide on sending over courses.
