OpenSesame’s integrations allow the direct transfer of courses to a learning platform, which eliminates the need for manual downloads and uploads. Lists offer the ability to deliver multiple courses at once.
In most cases, learning administrators will log in to www.opensesame.com to select and send courses. In some cases, learning administrators will never leave their learning platform—instead, they’ll access their OpenSesame account via a window in that platform.
However you access OpenSesame, please open your account menu and select Lists:

Click the title of the List you want to use:
Select from the courses within by clicking their checkboxes. You can select everything, specific Groups, or individual courses.
As soon as at least one course is selected, additional buttons will appear. Accounts configured for PPU will have an Add to Library button. Click it to create PPU licenses for the selected courses:
Note: Only courses with an active license—PPU or otherwise—will successfully send.
A progress bar will appear, resulting in a confirmation message:
Now that the courses have licenses, they can be sent to your learning platform. Select them again, and this time click the Deliver Courses button:
Note: If you have no licenses for a course, an error message will appear and the course(s) will be removed from the queue.
If you have multiple license types for any of the selected courses, you will be prompted to choose which license to use:
Next, if the Send to Integration delivery option does not appear, expand the menu at right and choose Send to Integration from there:
Any active integrations will appear alongside a checkbox. Select one, then click the Deliver Courses button:
For most integrations, a confirmation banner will appear and there will be no further steps to take in OpenSesame. If you see this message, the courses will appear in your learning platform on its next sync with OpenSesame:
Note: Some platforms can take up to 24 hours to sync, and some support manual syncs at any time.
To review the courses you’ve selected or remove them from the queue, click View Status in that banner to visit the My Courses dashboard, which can also be reached via the account menu. Otherwise, you’re done!
For legacy OpenSesame integrations, there is one more step, and a reminder will appear instead of a banner:
In that case, click the Review and Send button to navigate to the legacy Courses dashboard. The dashboard will open on the Pending tab:
All courses will have a "Pending" status until they're sent to the integration.* The trash can icon allows you to remove any you decide not to send. Once sent, courses will appear in the History tab.
* Note: If you use OpenSesame’s legacy SAP SuccessFactors integration, all courses will retain the Pending status even once sent to the SuccessFactors OCN, and the trash can icon will only successfully remove courses that haven’t yet been sent. Once sent, the courses will appear for import in the OCN after the OCN APM runs.
When you are ready to proceed, click the Send to LMS button:
A progress bar will appear as the courses are sent. Depending on your integration, the OpenSesame window may automatically close and return you to your learning platform, or the window may remain open and switch to the History tab.
At that point there are no further steps to take in OpenSesame.
