OpenSesame is committed to protecting its customers' data. As a general practice, we collect the bare minimum personal identifying information possible, called Personal Data under the US-EU Privacy Shield Program to which OpenSesame is a registrant. For Administrators who need direct access to the OpenSesame platform, we collect First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. For learners who are taking training through our customers' learning management systems, we collect the data that is provided by that LMS. Generally, this is Student Name and Student ID. Customers can choose to not pass us this information, however that limits our ability to provide end-user support and completion certificates.
OpenSesame transfers Personal Data to a small number of third parties to assist in the processing of data for the purposes of delivering our services.
Any EU resident who has a question about their rights to access, portability, and erasure of Personal Data that they believe may be processed by OpenSesame should contact their employer, but may also contact us directly at email@example.com.
