OpenSesame’s patented technology ensures that your content is secure.
When a customer purchases a course in the OpenSesame elearning marketplace, they can either view the course on the OpenSesame website or download a minimal SCORM 1.2 package to load into their learning management system (LMS). The SCORM 1.2 package contains a license identifier that enables OpenSesame to track and control usage of the course on a per-user basis. The course content is served from OpenSesame via a secure global CDN. The SCORM package loaded into the LMS serves as a proxy, relaying status messages from the actual course to the LMS but never delivering the original course package to the buyer. OpenSesame supports courses conforming to SCORM 1.2 through 2004 4th edition as well as AICC 2.2, 3.5, and 4.
