OpenSesame’s patented technology ensures that your content is secure.
When a customer purchases a course from the OpenSesame elearning catalog, they can either view it on www.opensesame.com or download a minimal AICC or SCORM 1.2 package to load into their Learning Management System (LMS).
The AICC or SCORM 1.2 package contains a unique license identifier that enables OpenSesame to track and control usage of the course on a per-user basis. Upon launch, the course content is served from OpenSesame via a secure global CDN. The package loaded into the LMS serves as a proxy, relaying status messages from the course to the LMS but never providing the actual course files to the customer.
For publishers, OpenSesame can accept course files conforming to SCORM 1.2 through 2004 4th edition, as well as (with prior approval) AICC 2.2, 3.5, 4, or xAPI.
