How does OpenSesame manage the expiration date of course licenses?

When customers make a purchase, they either view their course on www.opensesame.com or download a uniquely licensed file. That file may be uploaded to a Learning Management System (LMS) for launch, and launches from an LMS will stream the content from OpenSesame servers. The patented technology behind our files allows OpenSesame to validate course usage—ensuring that learners may access content only for the length of a valid license.

Once all licensed seats to a course have been occupied, or a license's expiration date has arrived, learners will be unable to launch the course. If that happens, adding seats or extending a license would allow launches to resume.
